Together with Edwin I’m going to the Oostvaarders plassen. We started very early but still we are to late for the sunrise. Damn the summer time! We start the day within the so called triangle. There are lots of different birds in the area. The area is perfectly suited for wildlife photography because of the many hides around here. Unfortunately we can’t seem to get any great images.
The most noticeable species are a bearded tit ( female ) and an sea eagle but both where to far away for good photographs. And so at the end of the day I ended up without a single reasonable photograph. But you can’t win them all better luck next time. The picture above here is from a passing spoonbill.
The day before yesterday it was 41 degrees celcius so maybe the birds still had some problems due to this. We were still cooked from earlier this week and so we decided to go home when the temperature rose above the 30 degrees celcius around 11 am.
